This musical is a loose adaptation of Pénélope Bagieu’s work *Les culottées* by the Cie des Bulles et des Grains, a performance under the stars.
The performers bring to life the stories of five little-known women who, each in their own way, have changed the face of humanity. The show is punctuated by songs from socially conscious women conveying powerful messages on the path to gender equality, and by choreographed sequences that give the narrative a poetic and light-hearted rhythm.
The contemporary staging, centred on an ensemble approach, offers the audience a unique and powerful voice that provides food for thought for everyone aged 8 and over.
Based in Brittany, the Compagnie Des Bulles et des Grains also maintains a presence in southern Ardèche and works with artists from both regions. A company that bridges east and west, constantly evolving, it draws inspiration from places, traditions and local people – a wonderful field of exploration for artists.
