Chestnut cultivation faces many challenges due to global warming. This orchard will help preserve genetic heritage and the diversity of local varieties, and enable long-term study of how different varieties behave in different climates.
This plantation is being carried out in partnership with the Regional Nature Park, the Ardèche Chestnut AOP and the Chamber of Agriculture. First year of planting.
