Domaine de Rochemure
07380 Jaujac
Jaujac, Ardèche
Opening : Friday 14 November 2025 at 12 am.
On 15 June 1821, after the appearance of a ball of fire and alarming explosions, a stone fell from the sky, causing fear and terror in Juvinas. A journey through time and space that is accessible to all.
The testimonies from that time, compared with today's knowledge, will immerse you in the history of science and this meteorite.
Where did it come from and why study it? What characterises meteorite falls? How can participatory science enable everyone to join in the observations?
