The 3nd edition of the soapbox race will be held at the end of the fête votive! So get your soapboxes ready for this year's not-to-be-missed event !
Get your soapbox ready and set off on an adventure that’s as original as it is fun! Design your own vehicle based on a theme of your choice, customise it with imagination, and come and take on the challenge on the track.
As well as performance, creativity will be rewarded! The judging panel will award three prizes:
- Fastest time prize
- Best customisation prize
- Best stunt prize
Entry requirements:
- Teams of at least two people.
- Open to children aged 12 and over, accompanied by a parent.
- Open to children aged 16 and over with parental consent.
- Open to all adults.
Vehicles must be built by the participants and comply with the race regulations. Costumes are strongly recommended to add even more spectacle and fun!
Programme for the day:
3.00 pm: Vehicle exhibition.
4.30 pm: 1st group run – Presentation of the soapbox cars and trial run. Following this heat, the Tiercé draw will take place.
5.00 pm: 1st timed run – The competition begins! Every second counts.
5.30 pm: 2nd timed run – Last chance to improve your time.
6.00 pm: Podium and awards ceremony, with the announcement of the winners and the Tiercé winner.
The trophies will be crafted live by Art Thy Zoom, making the awards ceremony even more unique!
