Hiking Festival Programme
8.30 am: Welcome, on-site registration for activities and complimentary coffee courtesy of the town hall
8.45 am: Guided hike – Montpezat Shepherd’s Trail, 10km, elevation gain: 500m, with the Montpezat Source du Sport Nature Association
9.00 am: Nature and heritage walk, led by Ardèche Randonnée, 8km – duration 3 hours – moderate difficulty – 15–20 participants (registration required)
9.00 am: Vinyasa yoga workshop – duration 1 hour with Pauline Dabrowski (Venue to be confirmed: Notre-Dame de Prévenchères or the village hall) – please bring your own mats! (3 mats available to borrow)
9.30 am: Tour of the village of Montpezat: a friendly stroll to discover the secrets of the narrow streets and local history with the association Les Enfants et les Amis de Montpezat – duration: 1 hour 15 mins – number of participants: 25 (booking required)
9.30 am: Digital hike ‘Discovering Montpezat-sous-Bauzon and Chalias’, 6.6 km, 2 hours 30 mins, elevation gain: 284 m, with Isabelle Legrand (registration required)
10 am: Storytelling walk “Butterflies and Papouillons” for children up to 4 years old with Suzanne Joux – pushchair-friendly route – duration 1 hour – 15 children + accompanying adults

10am: Storytelling walk ‘Papillons et Papouillons’ for children up to 4 years old with Suzanne Joux – a route suitable for pushchairs – duration: 1 hour – booking required
10am: Yoga for children and teenagers – ages 6–12 (accompanied by a parent) – booking required
10am–3pm: Orienteering with the Departmental Orienteering Committee – courses suitable for all levels and ages
From 10.30am: Yoga and stretching – two 30-minute sessions with Madeleine Archimbaud – bring your own mats!
11.00 am: Tour of the Clastres site: Prévenchères Church, St Roch Chapel and the paintings by Jean Saussac, organised by the association Les Enfants et les Amis de Montpezat – duration: 1 hour 15 minutes – registration required
12.30 pm: Light refreshments and drinks available on site

3.00 pm: Walk to discover edible plants and their benefits with Bernadette GIAUFRET from La Rose et l’Hellebore – duration 2 hours – 15 participants – by registration

• Sources & Volcans Tourist Office: immersive virtual reality experience ‘Geotrip Monts d’Ardèche’, every 30 minutes from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm and then from 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm – registration required
• Montpezat Media Library: story reading, treasure hunts, “Everything is connected, everything is alive!” exhibition from 11.00 am to 4.30 pm, seed bomb-making workshop at 2.00 pm
• The Departmental Orienteering Committee from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm: several orienteering courses
• Montpezat Source du Sport Nature Association: from 11.30 am, introduction to walking, frisbees available for disc golf
• Sensory trail in the orchard next to Notre Dame de Prévenchères
• Giant snakes and ladders game and self-guided fitness trail along the municipal campsite
