By Eduard Nazarov

Five fables in which the heroes navigate a world of surprises, solidarity, friendship and love. Narrated and sung by Philippe Katerine.

Programme:

– Little Hippo: A lonely hippopotamus envies the ants, bees and rabbits, who live in communities. Until he meets…

– Martinko: A young soldier finds a magical pack of cards and becomes rich enough to reach the king’s palace. The princess falls in love with him, but is furious when she realises he does not love her. She sets out to take her revenge…

– The Princess and the Ogre: A glorious day, an insufferable princess. A marvellous clearing and a dreadful cave. An ogre invites her in for lunch, but, faced with her beauty, feels embarrassed. Or is it the other way round?

– Once Upon a Time There Was a Dog: Once upon a time there was an old dog, too tired to scare off thieves. Chased from his home, the poor animal finds refuge in the forest, where he meets a wise and experienced wolf, who helps him win back the hearts of his masters.

– The Ant’s Journey: Because of a caterpillar, an ant is swept away by the wind. She finds herself lost at the other end of the garden. Injured, she will have to rely on the solidarity of the other insects to get home before sunset…
