Basalt flow, natural heritage in Thueyts in Ardèche

The Giant’s Causeway is a basalt flow from the Strombolian volcano of Gravenne de Thueyts. It reaches more than 50 m thick and 80 m high, so it is one of the most imposing of the Young Volcanoes of Ardèche and one of the highest in Europe.
You are not dreaming, it is not only in Ireland that the Giants have marked the valleys!
How to discover the Giant’s Causeway? We advise you to follow one of the hiking routes from the character village of Thueyts to the Pont du diable:

- The Devil’s Bridge, the Fargebelle Valley and its Queen’s Ladder
