Presentation of the artist's work before the workshop.
• Duration: approximately 3 hours
• Materials provided: Thread, textiles, hoops, needles • Open to all ages – ages 8 and up (children under 12 must be accompanied)
• Registration required at the Montpezat Town Hall - places limited to 10 people

Delphine Caraz
is a visual artist and graduate of the École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Lyon. Everything she does stems from her fascination with textiles (threads, clothes, fabrics) that she collects and the gestures associated with them. In particular, the running stitch has become her language, allowing her to explore memory, transformation and transcendence. Things move slowly, concentrating within her sculptures, bas-reliefs and books, as if she were striving for precision before starting again.

11:00 a.m. – Meet the artists – Opening – Prévenchères Church.

Discover the exhibition ‘De fils et d'eau – Matières Subtiles’ (Of Threads and Water – Subtle Materials), featuring three works (by Delphine Caraz, Alessendro Ripoli and Jean-Jacques Cornillon) in dialogue with each other, inhabiting the church of Prévenchères, and take advantage of the workshops offered by the artists.
Outside of workshop hours, the artists will be on site for three days.
