La Ligne theatre company and the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Nature Park are tackling the issue of climate change through a theatrical production.

The Parc des Monts d'Ardèche and La Ligne theatre company are tackling the urgent issue of climate change and the environment by joining forces on a theatrical project entitled Il n'est pas trop tard, puisque nous sommes là (It's not too late, since we're here). The shared challenge is to offer new narratives that inspire rather than repel, in order to raise awareness of this urgency among the inhabitants of the Monts d'Ardèche. And thus to support behavioural change, based on the lived reality of the inhabitants here and now.
A year spent meeting people, discussing, trying to understand the realities of the Ardèche
in the face of climate change, with the idea of putting on a show. Yes, but these realities are multiple, complex, sometimes divergent.
There is not one Ardèche, but many Ardèche people. The company failed. Gave up. Abandoned the project. But is the story of a failure necessarily a failure ? And can the transition succeed? It's too early to say...
All we know is that there will be a show: two actors, an investigation, stories of water, chestnuts, trout, tourism, a desire to get to know each other and attempts to understand each other better.
And a drink to share.
