Historic site and monument in Meyras, Ardèche

Opening : From 17/07 to 14/08, every Wednesday.
Guided tours by reservation only.


The Pont de Veyrières dam was built in 1986 on the Fontaulière river. Operated by EDF for hydroelectric generation, it supplies drinking water to the southern Ardèche and helps to keep the river at low water levels. Can be visited in July and August, subject to registration.

Not open to the public. Accessible during guided tours by hydroguides in July and August.

Access conditions for guided tours, by reservation :
- Visits for children aged 8 and over.
- Flat, closed shoes and covering clothing required. Good physical condition (stairs).
- Identification required on the day (national identity card, passport, driving licence).
- When booking, please provide: ID number, age, first and last names of all participants.
