Discover the role of the Pont-de-Veyrières dam and EDF power station. Duration 1h30. Registration 48 hours in advance: 04 75 36 38 60 or on the Park website. For children aged 8 and over. Flat, closed shoes, covering clothing required. Good condition (stairs).

Located on the Fontaulière river, the dam was built in 1986. Operated by EDF for hydroelectric generation, it plays an important role in supplying drinking water to the Sud-Ardèche region and in keeping the river low. Join EDF and the Etablissement Public Territorial du Bassin Versant de l'Ardèche for a tour of the dam and its many roles.

Meet at 2pm at the Pont-de-Veyrières dam, in front of the blue-roofed kiosk (Le Plot, 07380 MEYRAS). In front of the barrier (next to the bus stop). GPS: 44°41'16.8″N 4°16'28.5″E

Conditions of access to the visit :
- For visitors aged 8 and over.
- Flat, closed shoes and covering clothing required. Good physical condition (stairs).
- Identity document required on the day (national identity card, passport, driving licence).
