Fournil les Co'pains is a Scop (cooperative production company) offering organic sourdough bread baked over a wood fire, sweet and savoury bakery treats, as well as a bar offering drinks and snacks, and concerts in season.

Le Fournil les Co'pains is a cooperative founded 14 years ago out of a desire to bake sourdough bread in an environmentally-friendly and humane way. Today, the Fournil is located in the Pont de Veyrières district of Chirols and opens its doors on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays to offer bread, bakery products, snacks, biscuits and gourmet products from the Fournil or local producers. As well as the bakery, Le Fournil is also a café-bar, open in the evenings on Pizzas Wednesdays - we strongly advise you to book ahead if you want to treat yourself! - and on market Fridays from May to October, to enjoy the warm, friendly atmosphere that is so characteristic of the Chirolaine way of life.
