A lecture and film screening exploring the cosmos, combining astronomy, cinema and imagination, as part of the ‘Somewhere in Space’ project carried out with the residents of the Les Tilleuls care home.

What if the cosmos were to make an appearance in everyday village life?

As part of the film project ‘Somewhere in Space’, residents of the Les Tilleuls care home, supported by Ardèche Images, are exploring the boundaries between reality and fiction, astronomy and cinema, science and the imagination.

During this conference and film shoot, astronomer Marc Buonomo takes us on a journey of discovery through the cosmos. This encounter will inform the film currently in production, conceived and performed by the residents, secondary school pupils and local residents.

The conference will be followed by a filmed discussion with the audience, which will be incorporated directly into the film. Everyone will thus have the chance, for the duration of a scene, to become a participant in this collective adventure!

An artistic and scientific project carried out as part of the Territorial Convention for Artistic and Cultural Education, with the support of the community of communes.

Astronomy, cinema, humour, secrets, beliefs and a touch of whimsy: an evening where we leave solid ground behind for a while to see what lies hidden somewhere in space.
