In the heart of the Cévenne des jeunes volcans, the Jaujac festival brings together beaver farmers, craftsmen, artists, restaurateurs and local residents. Craft market, local producers. Entertainment..

Throughout the day

From 10.00 am and throughout the day, enjoy a wide range of activities, encounters and discoveries:
- Stalls and market: local producers, craftspeople and exhibitors look forward to welcoming you for a day celebrating local produce and craftsmanship.
- Refreshments and roasted chestnuts organised by the Amicale Laïque: the perfect chance to warm up whilst enjoying the wonderful aroma of roasted chestnuts!
- Games with Déambull, from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm, for young and old alike.
- Castagnades stand – Ardèche Chestnut PDO, run by the Monts d’Ardèche Regional Nature Park, the Ardèche Chestnut Inter-professional Committee (CICA) and the Sources & Volcans Tourist Office. - - Come and celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Ardèche Chestnut AOP and meet the men and women who keep this iconic heritage alive.
- A stand run by the League for the Protection of Birds (LPO) where you can learn about local biodiversity and discuss nature conservation.
- A blacksmith’s demonstration, where you can watch metalwork in action and discover the techniques of this age-old craft.

Events not to be missed:
10.30 am – Storytelling sessions for toddlers
Valérie Beal invites children aged 18 months to 5 years to step into the wonderful world of storytelling for a break filled with stories and imagination.

11 am, 2 pm and 3 pm – Batucada Bahiavi
Make way for rhythms and percussion! The Bahiavi batucada will get the festival buzzing with their infectious beats.

1.30 pm, 2.30 pm and 3.30 pm – Sketches by the Impromptu Théâtre
The actors from the Impromptu Théâtre take centre stage at the festival with sketches full of surprises and good humour.

2.30 pm – Tour of the AOP Chestnut Conservation Orchard / Departure from the square, at the Castagnades stand.
Set off to explore the AOP Chestnut Conservation Orchard with the Monts d’Ardèche Regional Nature Park and the CICA.
Duration: 1 hour – no booking required and no capacity limit.
During the tour, learn about the issues surrounding the conservation of the 65 varieties of the Ardèche Chestnut AOP, as well as the challenges posed by climate change and the measures being taken to preserve this living heritage. A tour accredited as part of the ‘Fête de la science 2026’.

4.00 pm to 6.00 pm – Concert by the duo Natcha
To round off the day with music, the duo Natcha will take to the stage with vocals and acoustic guitar. On the programme: rock, soul, blues and pop classics to keep the party going in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
