Géraldine Baldini plays a flamboyant prima donna and offers a humorous take on the conventions of bel canto.
In *La Prima Donna*, Géraldine Baldini embodies, body and soul, a Prima Donna conceived by the author Claude Ber, in a play on mise en abyme.
With relish, she borrows the pronunciation and phrasing of Italian divas and elegantly demystifies the art of bel canto, recalling its sensual and sexual fundamentals.
Géraldine Baldini also showcases her talents as a versatile singer, before offering a ‘Jivaro bonus’ in homage to the immense voice of Yma Sumac, with the collaboration of Marcelle Basso Bocabella.
