Patrick takes you deep down the valley not known by the tourist with lots of breathtakings views.
As you walk, he will tell you the story of this valley, of the people who lived and still live here, and of the animals you may encounter. Every stone tells a story, because 100 years ago, this valley was densely populated. A hearty picnic will be provided, allowing you to enjoy a bite to eat in the midst of this wild and beautiful natural setting. You will walk through a rugged but beautiful and charming landscape, where unspoilt nature is omnipresent and geology has shaped magnificent and splendid stone landscapes.
Programme: Arrival between 4pm and 7pm, where your meal will be waiting for you, followed by a night in one of our guest rooms of your choice. The next day, departure at 10 a.m. (or earlier if it is hot) with a packed lunch in an insulated bag, hike with Patrick who knows the valley like the back of his hand. In the evening, you can enjoy the evening around the table d'hôte and good Ardèche dishes. The next day will be either total rest or another shorter walk to enjoy the day as well.
