The Lac des Pierrelles is a lone (dead arm of the Rhône) that is fed by the river via the water table and a few streams.
This peri-urban wetland is home to typical aquatic fauna and flora, which should be preserved. The site is suitable for the wintering and breeding of numerous bird species (Garzette Egrets, Coot, etc.).
