The screening will be preceded by a presentation by the Association Les Amis du Parc and followed by a discussion with members of the association.

Director Gilles Coudert closely followed the creation of the artistic trail Le Partage des Eaux, from the initial construction work to the installation of the artworks. This immersion resulted in the documentary film Quand l’art partage les eaux, produced by a.p.r.e.s production in 2025.

An invisible line runs through the landscape, separating the Mediterranean basin from the Atlantic basin. This is the watershed. Over the centuries, it has sculpted the relief, carved out valleys, shaped slopes and traced roads and paths.

This geographical line naturally inspired an artistic journey along the GR7, in the heart of the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Nature Park. A dozen permanent works of art reflect on the major global issues related to water: its quality, its preservation, its sharing — themes that are inextricably linked to the current climate crisis.

In the film Quand l'art partage les eaux (When Art Shares Water), narrated by Charles Berling, we follow Éric, an art and nature enthusiast, along the route. Along the way, he meets artists, scientists and project participants, as well as locals and visitors who share their views and emotions. They all provide us with keys to a better understanding of this region.

Because this natural border does not divide. On the contrary, it connects: it unites people through the water cycle, a symbol of this unique place and global ecological challenges.

Featuring artists Gloria Friedmann, Kôichi Kurita, Olivier Leroi, Henrique Oliveira, Stéphane Thidet, Felice Varini, Eric Watt from the Toplamak collective, as well as Gilles Clément, gardener, landscape architect and writer, and Eric Benqué, designer.
