Marking the south-eastern extremity of the vast Cévennes massif, the Vivarais Cévenol corniche is a long ridge stretching north from the Prataubérat massif towards the foothills of the southern Ardèche to the south-east, overlooking the deep valleys of the Drobie to the east and the Thines and Chassezac to the south.
