The Gallo-Roman (MC) milestone of Pont de Labeaume in Ardèche is installed on the Helviens track (Antonin le Pieux track), dated 306-307. With plaque translating the inscription.
Did you know? The village of Pont de Labeaume lies at the junction of ancient Roman roads, one leading to Gergovie, the other to Aquitaine.
You’ll also find magnificent basalt flows and a Romanesque church, Notre Dame de Nieigles, on the village heights.
