The Thueyts Media Library and La Maison de l'Image Aubenas invite you to the ‘Un livre, un film’ adaptation festival at La Vesprade cinema. Screenings, activities after each session, aligot sausage on Saturday evening (booking required: 04 75 89 16 09).
On the programme for the ‘Un livre, un film’ festival:
- Friday 30 January at 8pm: ‘The Maid’ by Paul Feig, based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Freida McFadden - drinks reception after the screening
- Saturday 31 January:
at 4 p.m.: ‘Dalloway’ by Yann Gozlan, based on the book ‘Les fleurs de l'ombre’ by Tatiana de Rosnay, followed by an aligot sausage meal at 7 p.m. (reservation required)
at 8.30 p.m.: ‘Furcy, né libre’ by Abd Al Malik, based on the case of the slave Furcy by Mohammed Aïssaoui
-Sunday 1 February:
10 a.m.: Film brunch for ages 4 and up - Jack and Nancy, the most beautiful stories by Quentin Blake - coffee/hot chocolate welcome and crafts after the film
2.30 p.m.: ‘La condition’ by Jérôme Bonnell, based on the book ‘Amours’ by Léonor Recondo
5:00 p.m.: ‘Lumière pâle sur les collines’ (original version with subtitles) by Kei Ishikawa, based on the book of the same name by Kazuo Ishiguro, winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature.
