Aria Mondo brings together singers and multi-instrumentalists for a musical journey through the traditions of the world (Celtic, Eastern, Indian, etc.). Their colourful and sacred repertoire celebrates peace, joy and tolerance.

‘Aria Mondo’ is a world music group, formed in 2023 in the Ardèche region, comprising singers and multi-instrumentalists with rich and varied artistic backgrounds:

Elisabeth Meunier: lead vocals, percussion, Shruti box...
Michèle Gillan: vocals and percussion
Alain Ferrier: banjos, accordion, percussion, jaw harp, psaltery…… and vocals
Gilbert Crasz: guitar and percussion... and vocals

Their repertoire is an invitation to embark on a journey through music and songs drawn from traditions across the globe: Celtic, Eastern European, Indian, Native American, Tibetan, African, Aboriginal...
The common thread running through this programme is to portray, through music and song, a colourful world steeped in tradition and the sacred, resonating with messages of peace, joy, tolerance and love.
