In partnership with L’Accordée music school, the Maison de Vallée invites you to a day dedicated to music, meeting new people and sharing experiences, at the Meyras theatre.
At 5.00 pm: sign language taster workshop
Join Suzanne Joux to discover sign language and try your hand at ‘chansigne’ (sign-singing) by learning a signed song. An accessible and friendly experience to explore a different way of bringing music and emotions to life.
At 8.00 pm: SYMBOLE concert-show, by PYTT and RIDER
Live music, sign-singing, juggling, theatre and clowning. A duo suitable for all ages.
With SYMBOLE, live music, sign-singing and the performing arts come together to bring to life a unique show accessible to everyone.
Performed in French and through sign-singing, the songs take on form and imagery to create a space for meaningful exchange between the deaf and hearing communities. Combining music, movement, poetry and the visual arts, PYTT and RIDER invite you to enjoy an original artistic experience, brimming with energy and emotion.
“Hybrid sounds, finely crafted lyrics, an artistic revelation, a vibrant and inclusive live performance!” — Le Canotier, Aurilla
