The Association of Friends and Children of Montpezat invites you to an exhibition about industry and on silkworm breeding in the Ardèche, an exhibition organised by the departmental archives.
Going beyond the tourist attractions of the region and delving into the archives to immerse oneself in the industrial history of the Ardèche is the aim of this exhibition.
Beyond the industrial jewels of the Ardèche, this journey focuses on the men, women and children who worked there and their industrious energy.
This three-part exhibition addresses industry in terms of its regulation and application in the Ardèche from the 19th century to the present day, its influence on the region,
contemporary struggles, and the thorny issue of the rehabilitation of industrial sites.
