After travelling through the hamlets and unusual places of the Bourges Valley, the songs continue on their way... They now travel to the partner municipalities of the Maison de Vallée, like an echo spreading outwards.
These songs were born from the voices of the inhabitants, their shared stories set to music by Baptiste Dupré. They convey the experiences of the valley, which also resonate with those of neighbouring villages: concerns, attachments and desires that echo and recognise each other.
New concerts with Baptiste and La Maison de Vallée offer a simple and convivial moment to be shared together, so that these words can resonate further afield and find new voices and new encounters.
Come and join us for the first stage on Friday 19 September at Parc de Chirols from 8pm with a drink or dish to share for a convivial evening. Remember to bring reusable cups and crockery and something comfortable to sit on so you can enjoy the concert, which will start at 8.30pm.
