Associations in Fabras, Ardèche

Toutatis 07's aim is to reach out to the villagers, and to offer, in its own way, opportunities to meet, debate, exchange ideas, help each other and show solidarity to all those who want to share simple, convivial and festive moments.

In the spring of 2022, after several confinements and two special years, a few of us from the village wanted to get together again, to meet you again, for a shared picnic at the Place des Cerisiers: barbecue, beer taps (local of course!), packed lunch, a convivial moment between generations and neighbourhoods of Fabras, meeting people you don't usually meet... and the desire was born to repeat these shared moments, alongside the other village associations.

Following positive feedback from villagers and our growing motivation, a new association was created in the commune in December 2022: Toutatis 07 (named after the Gallic god of gathering and cohesion).

The aim is to create cohesion and links between local residents through a variety of cultural, sporting and artistic events: shared picnics, shared storytelling snacks, music festivals, Christmas markets, concerts, castagnades, ...., etc.

2024 programme:
- Sunday 9 June, shared picnic, starting at 11am in Place des Cerisiers. Barbecue available.
- Friday 21 June, the traditional "Fête de la Musique", starting at 6pm in the Place des Cerisiers. A great programme awaits you. Snacks and refreshments available.
- Early September: TOUTATIS 07 will have a stand at the associations forum in Montpezat.
- Saturday 9 November: Mashed potato competition as part of the "La Pure et Dure" festival in Jaujac. The festival and its competition originally scheduled for Saturday 10 February have had to be cancelled and rescheduled for 8 and 9 November. The recipe devised especially for the event by the team entered in the competition will be kept warm, double-locked, to delight your taste buds on the big day.
- Saturday 30 November TOUTATIS Christmas Market with local designers and producers
- And in the pipeline for December, a classical concert in the church.
